Index.dat Suite permette non solo di cancellare i files index.dat, temporanei internet, temp, cookies e history, ma anche di visualizzare il contenuto degli index.dat.

Due to request, I've added a prompt to ask if you want to re-start as soon as the program has generated the batch file.

For those that do not want this, you can turn it off on the General tab of the settings by unticking the option labelled:

"Do not prompt to re-start computer after batch file generation"

Notes:

Due to (probable) permission issues with Vista, I've re-written the default batch location routines to allow for Vista and check the file can be created in the location specified. If this fails, it will try a total of 3 times with 3 different paths, before giving up and asking you to specify a location yourself.

I've also added logging to the batch file itself, to allow debugging when finding out which files/folders failed to be cleaned, and why. This is logged to {IDS_PATH}\Logs\debug.log

Index.dat Suite 2.10.1

Index.dat Suite è uno strumento che permette di eliminare tutte le informazioni dal file index.dat, dai file temporanei, dalla cartella temp, dai cookie e dalla history rendendo tutto irrecuperabile. L'utente può anche visualizzare tutte le informazioni prima di eliminarle definitivamente. Il programma è facile da utilizzare e garantisce la privacy dell'utente nel caso di intrusioni o accessi non autorizzati, eliminando qualsiasi traccia dell'utilizzo del Pc e della navigazione. Tra le principali caratteristiche dell'applicazione:
visualizzazione, cancellazione e backup del file index.dat;
visualizzazione e cancellazione dei Temporary Internet Files (TIF);
visualizzazione e cancellazione dei cookie;
visualizzazione e cancellazione dei file temporanei.
