cFosSpeed 4.06 permette di ottimizzare i parametri delle connessioni ADSL ed ISDN aumentandone le prestazioni durante la navigazione ed il download dei file. Il software fornisce una elevata velocità per l'utilizzo di giochi online e per le reti di filesharing come Emule, Kazaa, e Bittorrent. Migliora anche le connessioni streaming e VoIp. Tra le principali caratteristiche:
modalità bassa latenza durante la navigazione;
cinque priorità diverse per le code;
possibilità di utilizzo dell'applicazione per Pc appartenenti a Lan e WLan;
supporto router e bridge;
supporto connessioni multiple simultanee.

Tra le novità di questa versione:
aggiunto controllo checksum per protocollo UDP ;
aggiunto supporto per protocolli SSL_S_BULK, SSL_C_BULK e SSH_BULK;
nuove regole di filtraggio;
aggiunto avviso per troppe connessione aperte;

risolti numerosi bug.
