A seconda dell'uso che se ne vuole fare Snappy Fax può sembrare un programma allo stesso tempo semplice e complesso. Questo software è un programma per ricevere e spedire fax, ma anche un potente gestore di documenti. All'interno si trovano varie opzioni: dalle utility per rilevamento del modem, scanner, linea telefonica e internet, gestore pop/smtp per la posta elettronica, fino alle impostazioni per i più comuni effetti visivi, tasti di scelta rapida, gestione delle note, e dell'archivio, delle pagine di copertina. L'applicazione spedisce fax da qualsiasi programma di Windows e può essere usato in coppia con lo scanner. I fax potranno così essere inviati all'istante oppure oppure messi in coda con l'uscita programmata — utile per chi deve gestire comunicazioni periodiche. Altre funzioni:
