[html_it]AnyDVD è un tool in grado di eliminare la protezione CSS dai DVD, creando un driver virtuale in background. Questi appaiono così senza protezioni del tipo il codice regionale a qualsiasi programma sul PC e allo stesso sistema operativo.

Grazie a questa utility, i software come CloneDVD, Pinnacle Instant Copy e Intervideo DVD-Copy possono realizzare copie di backup di DVD protetti dalla protezione CSS. In questo modo è possibile la visione dei DVD senza incappare nel fastidioso region lock.

Fra le caratteristiche di AnyDVD:
Funziona come un driver che lavora in background;
rimuove lo scrambling dei dati (CSS) e il codice regionale (RPC) dai DVD;
rimuove la protezione da copia analogica analogica (Macrovision);
rimuove il blocco di operazioni durante certe sequenze e altre limitazioni;
Previene l'avvio di software contenuti nei DVD Video (ad esempio PC-Friendly);
permette di settare il refresh a seconda del materiale video;
permette l'esecuzione di programmi all'inserimento o alla rimozione di dischi;
permette il controllo della velocità del lettore DVD;
